Truly outstanding! We contracted with Benjamin to install an engineered Eucalyptus hardwood floor throughout the majority of our home based on the fantastic work he had done previously at our daughter’s house to sand and finish her new wood floor. He arrived on schedule to survey the job and provided a very reasonable written estimate later that same week. After finalizing the contract we coordinated next steps and an installation date. Benjamin arrived at the appointed time and worked without assistance for the next five full days to complete the job. To save costs, we did as much of the prep work as we could in advance but Benjamin carefully went back over our work to ensure the sub-floor was smooth, level, and free of squeaks. Once the installation began, he worked quietly, methodically, and efficiently, carefully attending to every detail. At one point he ran into an unexpected problem with the original construction of our staircase as he prepared to replace the treads. He creatively came up with a solution that entailed a customized effort to mount new risers and emplace the new stair treads, all without adding any costs to the contract. Throughout the process, Benjamin cheerfully answered our many questions, was careful to respect our home, and thoroughly cleaned his work area at the end of each day. The finished product is absolutely beautiful. Benjamin proved to be an experienced, professional, and reliable craftsman who takes great pride in producing high quality work. We plan to work with him again when the opportunity arises and would recommend him to our friends without hesitation.
